1. General

Marketing & Supply Wirtheim L.T.D (hereinafter: the “Company”), which operates the website www.wirtheim.com, respects customers’ rights and acts in accordance with the provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, and the Consumer Protection Regulations (Cancellation of a Transaction), 2010 (collectively: the “Law”).
This policy clarifies the customer’s right to cancel a transaction, return products, and receive a refund or exchange, subject to the provisions of the Law.


2. Types of Products Sold on the Website

On the website www.wirtheim.com, the Company sells:

Some items are manufactured or customized specifically for the customer (for example, cut-to-size pieces).


3. Eligibility for Refund or Return

  1. In general, the right to cancel and return is granted as defined by the Law and subject to meeting the legal requirements (cancellation period, product condition, proof of purchase, etc.).
  2. Products manufactured especially for the customer or products cut to size (hereinafter: “Custom Orders”) cannot be canceled or returned once production has begun, as specified in the Law.
  3. In the event of a defective product or a discrepancy between the ordered product and the delivered product, the Company will provide a remedy in accordance with the Law.

4. Timeframe for Refund or Return

  1. A customer may cancel a distance selling transaction or return a product (that is not customized) within 14 days from the date of receiving the product or from the date of receiving the transaction details (whichever is later), unless otherwise stated by the Law.
  2. It is possible to arrange a later return date with the Company than what is prescribed by law, subject to mutual agreement and provided it complies with legal requirements.

5. Proof of Purchase

To exercise the right to cancel a transaction or return a product, the customer must present a tax invoice/receipt (or other proof of purchase, as required by the Law).


6. Condition of the Product upon Return

  1. Returns must be made in a condition as intact as possible, in the original packaging, without damage or defect caused by any use beyond reasonable inspection.
  2. For Custom Orders (products specially made or cut to size), cancellation or return is not possible once production has begun, except in cases where the product is found to be defective or there is a material discrepancy.
  3. The Company reserves the right to inspect the returned product’s condition before issuing a refund or exchange.

7. Shipping Costs and Handling Fees

  1. When returning a product to the Company, the customer bears the shipping costs back to the Company, except in cases where the product is defective or the Company made an error in shipment.
  2. Should any additional costs apply (such as cancellation fees according to the Law), they will be charged in accordance with the Law and up to the legally prescribed limit.

8. Method of Issuing Refunds

  1. Refunds will be processed in the same payment method used for the original transaction, in accordance with the timeframes stipulated by law.
  2. If the transaction was made by credit card, the refund or cancellation can be processed to the same credit card (where technically feasible).
  3. If payment was made in cash, the refund will be made by bank transfer or by granting store credit, at the customer’s choice, subject to the Company’s terms and the Law.
  4. The Company will complete the refund process within 14 business days from the date of receiving the cancellation notice and the returned product, provided there is no other stipulation by law.

9. Option to Exchange or Receive Store Credit

  1. Instead of a refund, the customer may request an exchange (subject to product availability or an equivalent item).
  2. The Company may offer the customer store credit at the physical business location (not on the website) instead of a cash refund, in accordance with legal requirements and with the customer’s agreement. The credit amount will be determined by the returned product’s purchase price, minus any legally allowed deductions.

10. Exceptions

  1. Products manufactured or customized specifically for the customer cannot be returned or canceled once production has started, except in cases defined by law (for example, a defective product).
  2. If an attempt is made to return a product that is excluded by the Law, the cancellation or return may not be possible unless otherwise specified in the Israeli Consumer Protection Law.

11. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

The Company undertakes to act in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and its regulations. In any case of conflict or inconsistency between this policy and the Law, the Law shall prevail.

  1. The Company strives to simplify the process and act in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements, aiming to provide a positive and fair customer experience.
  2. Each step of the process — from initial contact to the completion of the refund or exchange — will be explained clearly and transparently to the customer.

14. Disputes and Conflicts

  1. Any dispute related to this policy or its implementation shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
  2. Exclusive jurisdiction is vested in the competent courts in the Haifa district.
  3. The Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the purchased product only.

15. Updates and Changes to the Policy

The Company reserves the right to update this Refund and Return Policy from time to time, as long as it complies with legal requirements. Any material changes will be published on the Company’s website.
